Description
The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, supervision, and materials for a phased renovation of Stennis Hall, Building 1002, including mechanical-system renovation, replacement of two chillers and the main electrical switchgear, HVAC, DDC/BAS, CRAC, plumbing, fire alarm, wet-pipe sprinkler, restroom, carpet, acoustical ceiling, structural, masonry, painting, and elevator modernization work. The facility will remain occupied and operational during construction, requiring phased work, temporary cooling, daily cleaning, protection of occupants and equipment, coordination of utility outages, and continued operation of electrical, telecommunications, and HVAC systems except during approved shutdowns. The completed system must provide operational heating and cooling integrated with a new DDC package. The scope also includes hazardous-material abatement procedures for identified black mastic, salvage and disposal, testing and balancing, commissioning, quality control, safety, and closeout documentation. Amendment 0003 incorporates Attachment 12, which identifies Trane as the applicable HVAC chiller manufacturer, and extends the proposal deadline to September 9, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. CDT. The procurement remains a 100-percent Total Small Business Set-Aside for a single firm-fixed-price construction contract. A CMMC Conditional Level 2 Certification is acceptable at award, provided the contractor submits a Plan of Action and Milestones for achieving full Level 2 status within 180 days.
