Description
The City seeks a provider for animal control field services within city limits, including responding to calls, handling stray, injured, dangerous, and diseased animals, investigating bites and attacks, and removing dead animals. The provider must also operate or arrange shelter services and provide veterinary care, including emergency care, quarantine, adoption and humane disposition, and animal licensing administration. The scope includes public access and customer service, trained personnel and suitable vehicles, records and reporting, disaster response planning, and coordination with the City. Proposals must address all minimum required services and may separately offer and price optional or enhanced services. The City anticipates an initial three-year term beginning July 1, 2027, with up to two three-year extension options.
