Description
The Texas Juvenile Justice Department is soliciting monthly exterminator services for every building at the Gainesville State Juvenile Correctional Facility. Services include interior and exterior treatment for mice, rodents, roaches, silverfish, moths, spiders, crickets, scorpions, fire ants, and other crawling insects, excluding termites and bedbugs. The contractor must supply all extermination materials and equipment, provide retreatment within 48 hours when notified, and provide a 60-day treatment warranty. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must comply with secure-facility access, inventory, identification, background-check, safety, and Prison Rape Elimination Act requirements. The contractor must submit an approved INS-410 inventory form and Safety Data Sheets before beginning services. The solicitation covers an initial term from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, with three optional 12-month renewals.
