Description
The National Park Service is soliciting competitive bids to lease the restored Stow-Hardy House, a historic single-family residence of approximately 2,400 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The authorized use is low-impact, non-transient residential occupancy. The lessee must maintain the historic and well-tended appearance of the house and grounds, pay all utilities and routine maintenance costs, and comply with the draft lease and applicable federal and state requirements. The lease term is a maximum of three years. The minimum fair-market rent is $51,600 annually, payable in monthly installments of $4,300, and the award will go to the highest responsive monthly rent bid, subject to financial-capability and reference checks. Bids must use the provided Bid Sheet and include the requested applicant information, identification, rental history or home-ownership proof, income documentation, and related supporting information. The submission must be a single PDF emailed to the designated address with the required subject line. The selected lessee must also maintain specified property and liability insurance during the lease term and comply with lead-paint disclosure requirements.
