Description
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Aerial Networks Division, intends to procure commercially available GPS satellite simulator hardware and accessories for a Tactical Data Networks laboratory technology refresh under a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract. The notice identifies Talen-X, Inc., a subsidiary of Safran Federal Systems, as the only vendor capable of meeting the stated requirements. Required capabilities include simulation at 1,000 Hz or greater; GNSS environment emulation; jamming and spoofing; propagation, terrain, ionospheric, tropospheric, multipath, satellite-clock, ephemeris, and navigation-message error modeling; antenna-pattern and receiver-trajectory modeling; import of NMEA, CSV, and KML tracks; hardware-in-the-loop operation; 10 MHz, 1 PPS, and GPS antenna inputs; a 32–3,225 MHz frequency range; at least four transmit channels; and simulation of GPS and GLONASS constellations and specified frequency bands. Equipment training is desired, and additional security requirements apply to GPS codes. Capability statements, proposals, or quotations may be submitted for agency consideration, although the notice is not a request for competitive quotes.
