The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is seeking a fully crewed and equipped cutterhead dredge, with a discharge size of 30 inches or greater inside diameter, for maintenance dredging. The work will be performed at the Mississippi River Southwest Pass Area, specifically between Mile 6.0 AHP and Mile 19.5 BHP. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The contract will involve furnishing the dredge, attendant plant, and crew to perform the dredging operations. Safety and environmental protection measures, as outlined in EM 385-1-1 and other applicable regulations, will be strictly enforced. The solicitation documents will be posted on SAM.gov, and interested vendors are encouraged to register.
