Description
The City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, for the Greater Baton Rouge Airport District, is soliciting electronic or paper construction bids for Phase III demolition supporting Runway 13/31 Safety Area and Runway Protection Zone (RPZ) Improvements at Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. The project is subject to required Federal Aviation Administration and Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development approvals and grant funding. Bids must include a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the total amount bid, payable to the City of Baton Rouge. Contractors must comply with Louisiana contractor-licensing requirements, federal equal-opportunity and Buy American provisions, and good-faith efforts to utilize disadvantaged business enterprises. The solicitation states that Forms A, B, and C are currently not required.
