Description
The Housing Authority of Lafourche Parish is soliciting bids for its 2025 and 2026 Capital Fund Program, including replacement of the sewer treatment plant at the Orange Grove Site and heater replacement at the Orange Grove and Golden Meadow Sites. The project is classified as building construction, electrical, or mechanical work, and contractors must comply with Louisiana contractor licensing requirements. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond or an acceptable equivalent. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Substantial completion is required within 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $150 per calendar day for delay.
