Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability statements from general contractors for the second phase of a Community Living Center at the Harry S. Truman VA Medical Center. The project involves site preparation, demolition and removal of existing structures, and construction of a 24-bed, 20,400-square-foot, two-story addition connected to the first phase of the Community Living Center. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, and equipment required under final design-bid-build contract documents. Responses must describe the company’s business size and socioeconomic status, interest in the project, available bonding capacity supported by a bonding-company letter of intent, and relevant experience. Respondents may identify no more than three comparable projects completed within the last seven years and must provide project details, references, technical capabilities, key personnel, and self-performed work information. The response is limited to eight single-sided pages, must be single-spaced in at least 12-point font, and must be submitted as one application-generated PDF of no more than 4 MB. This is market research only and is not a bid or proposal; the anticipated construction solicitation is planned for late November 2026.
