Description
The City of Columbia, Missouri, is soliciting a contractor for on-call nuisance abatement services in Columbia and unincorporated Boone County. Work may include mowing and brush-hogging weeds and overgrown vegetation; removing fallen trees, trash, debris, standing water, and sewage; providing dumpsters and waste hauling; and using equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, tractors, pumps, and chip trucks. The contractor must provide estimates within five business days of a request, obtain authorization before beginning work, remove all debris from each site, and submit invoices within 14 calendar days after completion. The proposal requires firm fixed pricing for labor, equipment, disposal, dumpster services, and additional regularly used tools, including pricing for the original term and four potential one-year renewals. Evaluation is based on cost and the offeror's experience, reliability, personnel expertise, and method of performance. The solicitation requests organizational information, relevant experience and references, key-personnel qualifications, licenses or certifications, a performance plan, pricing pages, exhibits, and applicable subcontractor and work-authorization documentation. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewal periods.
