Description
The City of Aubrey is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Blackjack Pump Station, two one-million-gallon ground storage reservoirs, and all necessary appurtenances, materials, machinery, equipment, supervision, and work required to make the facilities functional and operational in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bidders must submit lump-sum and unit prices in both words and figures. Bid security of at least 5% of the total proposal amount is required as a cashier's or certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price, subject to the stated exception for contracts under $25,000, and must also furnish maintenance bonds as described in the bidding documents. Plans, specifications, and bidding documents are available through CIVCAST or for purchase from Birkhoff, Hendricks & Carter, L.L.P.
