Description
The U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory is seeking one system consisting of two independent PXIe chassis, each with at least nine peripheral slots. Each chassis must accommodate a government-furnished PXIe-5186 digitizer operating at 12.5 GSa/s, a GPS synchronization module compatible with IRIG-B input, and a Thunderbolt 3 remote-controller module, with four additional expansion slots and faceplate covers for unused slots. The system must support precise synchronization better than IRIG-B accuracy, compatibility with existing PXI/PXIe laboratory instrumentation, high-bandwidth data transfer, and 120 VAC power with a 1-meter power cord. The vendor must include two 2-meter Thunderbolt 3 cables, required configuration and diagnostic software and drivers, documentation, and manufacturer warranty and support. Government-furnished items include the PXIe-5186 modules, host workstation, GPS antenna/receiver, and software licenses; A/D and D/A converters, on-site installation, custom programming, integration, commissioning, calibration, and training beyond a user manual are not required. Quotes will be evaluated using a lowest-price-technically-acceptable approach based on price and compliance with the revised October 7, 2026 Minimum Requirements Document.
