Description
The City seeks a contractor to install and/or replace approximately 3,500 linear feet of water pipeline, primarily ductile iron pipe ranging from 8 to 24 inches, with associated water services, valves, fire hydrants, fittings, and appurtenances. The bid schedule also includes temporary 16-inch HDPE pipeline, 20-inch cement-mortar-lined and coated steel pipe, a steel casing, pipe supports, connection work, and an insertion valve. The work includes traffic control, utility locating and verification, pavement removal and repair, trenching and earthwork, compaction, protection or replacement of existing utilities and improvements, pipeline testing and disinfection, survey monument replacement, disposal of excess material, and restoration of affected areas. The project duration is 100 working days from the Notice to Proceed. The bid requires a Class A or C-34 contractor license and includes a 10% bid bond; payment and performance bonds of 100% of the contract price are required from the successful bidder.
