Description
Surrey School District No. 36 is seeking a contractor to provide complete audiovisual systems for a secondary school addition. The scope includes audiovisual equipment and materials for classrooms, special education rooms, digital signage, a gym flex space, and a dance studio, including ultra-short-throw and laser projectors, flat-panel displays, projection screens, loudspeakers, wireless microphones, audio DSP and amplification, control processors and touch panels, network equipment, equipment racks, mounts, raceways, cabling, and related hardware. The contractor must supply, install, configure, test, commission, and coordinate the systems with other project participants. The work also includes shop drawings, professional engineering approvals for applicable mounting and rigging, programming, testing and documentation, training, warranties, and operational manuals. Equipment must be CSA-certified or approved by an equivalent recognized certification body. The classroom wing is anticipated to be completed by April 2027, while the gym and dance studio systems are scheduled for completion by April 2028.
