Description
The MS-AL Rail Authority is soliciting bids for the construction of 2026 Multimodal Railroad Improvements. The project includes approximate quantities of 50 tons of sub-ballast, 410 tons of ballast, 440 feet of trackage (132lb. Min.) (Class 1 Relay), and 2 No. 8 turnouts, along with all appurtenances. Contract documents can be examined at the MS-AL Rail Authority, City Hall of Belmont, or Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc. Bidders can register for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com to view and/or order Contract Documents online and/or complete the electronic bidding process. Questions regarding website registration, online orders and/or electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193. Contract Documents are available for purchase from Plan House Printing and Graphics. All payments for bid documents are non-refundable and made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the bidder to whom contract documents have been issued. Each bidder must deposit security as provided in the Information for Bidders. For electronic bids, the bid bond must be submitted in electronic format or the original hard copy must be submitted to the MS-AL Rail Authority prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the opening. Upon delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish surety bonds as provided in the Information for Bidders. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids.
