Description
The Town of Davie Utilities Department is soliciting bids for the installation, replacement, maintenance, repair, and servicing of Limitorque valve actuators and related components. The awarded contractor must provide transportation, freight, delivery, mechanical installation, testing, emergency and non-emergency field services, replacement parts, and optional on-site training. Electrical connections will be provided by the Town, while the contractor must coordinate with the chief water operator and ensure equipment is installed and tested in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Bidders must be factory-authorized Flowserve distributors and authorized service providers for Limitorque products, with trained and certified personnel maintaining current Limitorque Blue Ribbon certification. Pricing is requested for specified actuator models, hourly repair rates, new actuator system installation, per diem services, and a fixed discount on replacement parts. The initial contract term is two years, with two additional one-year renewal options. Required response materials include the electronic bid form and vendor questionnaire, client references, notarized foreign-entity and anti-human-trafficking affidavits, applicable certifications, pricing list, proof of insurance, business registration, W-9 documentation as applicable, and required certifications and acknowledgments.
