Description
The Town of Davie is soliciting professional relocation services for the Housing and Community Affairs Division, Code Compliance Division, and four temporary town hall modular buildings. The selected contractor will provide project management, supervisors, movers, installers, vehicles, packing materials, equipment, and expertise to plan, pack, label, track, transport, unpack, reassemble, and install furniture, fixtures, equipment, files, computers, peripherals, and other office contents at the new permanent town hall. The move will involve multiple phases and may occur over several Friday-through-Sunday weekends during the summer of 2027, with additional service days as needed. The scope requires tracking of all furniture, equipment, files, and technology; web-based inventory and reporting capabilities are recommended; and the contractor must coordinate closely with Town personnel, who will handle certain packing, IT disconnection and reconnection, and secure materials. Proposals must address the firm's qualifications and experience, project team, relocation approach, equipment and resources, proposed schedule, references, and pricing. The contractor must comply with specified workforce, safety, property-protection, insurance, licensing, and damage-prevention requirements, and may not subcontract without prior approval.
