Description

Collin County seeks a full-body scanner system, peripherals, and equipment for the admissions area of its detention facility. The system must detect metallic and non-metallic contraband on individuals and inside body cavities, support rapid screening, provide image capture and analysis, automatically transfer scan data to protected storage, and offer recordkeeping and expunction capabilities. Proposals must address technology, accuracy and reliability, image export, health and radiation risks, applicable regulatory compliance, ADA accessibility, network compatibility, and potential integration with jail-management systems. The scanner must support continuous operation, include threat-image-projection training, and accommodate future remote connectivity. The scope includes delivery, assembly, professional installation and configuration, operator training, a minimum one-year warranty, and pricing for a five-year maintenance and support plan. Technical support must provide a response turnaround of no more than four hours. Proposers must submit firm information, project-team qualifications, an implementation plan, project schedule, pricing, detailed requirement responses, exceptions if applicable, three references, contact information, and the specified completed attachments and forms.
