Collin County is soliciting bids from Dell Platinum or Titanium level resellers for new business-class computer equipment and accessories, including laptops, desktops, tablets, all-in-ones, monitors, keyboards, mice, docks, travel hubs, cases, vehicle docking stations, and comparable hardware. Dell is required for end-user computing items, while approved equivalents may be accepted for other line items. Equipment must be new and covered by the specified manufacturer warranties; portable devices require five-year manufacturer warranty coverage including accidental damage. The County will provide a custom Windows image for installation before shipment, and setup and installation are not required. Bidders must submit a firm-fixed markup percentage applied to authorized manufacturer or distributor pricing, pass through applicable discounts and price reductions, provide pricing verification documentation upon request, and meet the requirement of three years of continuous computer and equipment sales or services experience. The contract is for one year from award, with two additional one-year renewal options, and purchases will be made on an as-needed basis without a guaranteed minimum quantity. The estimated annual contract value is $1,200,000.
