Description
Kitsap Public Utility District is soliciting bids for all labor, equipment, and materials required to install utility-provided fiber cables using strand-and-lash construction along Puget Sound Energy poles, and to install conduit in public rights-of-way and private roads within existing utility easements. The contractor must coordinate with participating homeowners regarding conduit, duct, and demarcation-point locations and installations. The contractor is responsible for applicable permits other than the existing pole-attachment permit obtained by Kitsap PUD, and must be licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. The project is subject to state prevailing-wage requirements. Bids will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. The required submission package consists only of the furnished bid form, bid guarantee, Non-Collusion Declaration, Statement of Bidders Qualifications, Certification of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes, and Subcontractor List.
