The U.S. Navy is soliciting a firm-fixed-price service contract for annual inspection and preventative maintenance of fall protection equipment, including eight C-frame stands, one JSI set, one Flexdeck set, and 16 self-retracting lifeline units located in hangars. The contractor must provide the lift required for inspections and repairs, along with labor, tools, testing equipment, troubleshooting, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, replacement of worn seals and minor parts, and verification that equipment operates to manufacturer specifications. The requirement is brand-name for 3M DBI-SALA, DBI Sala Industries, and MSA Safety/Latchways equipment, with acceptable OEM or equivalent parts and service capabilities. The contract includes a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. Preferred personnel qualifications include current OEM-specific training or certification for the listed equipment, and vendors must provide documentation of training or certification for OEM-specific or equivalent equipment. Offers will be evaluated on technical factors, including delivery date, price, and past performance. Amendment 0001 posts vendor questions and answers and extends the response deadline to September 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
