Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for one set of military-specification padlocks under NSN 5340-01-449-6575. The set consists of 10 padlocks, keyed alike, with a nominal 0.375-inch shackle diameter and required serial-number marking on each key and padlock body. The solicitation identifies part standard FF-P-2827A, Part Piece Number F2827-A3-10, and related technical and quality requirements. Government first-article testing is required. The contractor must deliver 17 first-article units within 45 calendar days of contract date to the designated testing facility; the first-article units will be retained or destroyed during testing and are separate from the production quantity. The government’s stated testing cost of $5,000 will be considered in evaluating offers. The production item is to be delivered FOB origin to DLA Distribution Puget Sound in Bremerton, Washington, with delivery specified as 618 days and packaging, marking, inspection, and domestic-material requirements applying.
