Description
Muncie Community Schools is soliciting construction manager as constructor services for construction, reconstruction, alteration, and renovation of its buildings and facilities. The scope includes preconstruction advice; consultation, collaboration, and project construction management during and after design and construction; development of construction schedules and estimated costs; analysis of first-tier subcontractor qualifications; and guarantees of project cost and schedule. Proposals must include a financial statement on Indiana SBOA Form 96, a statement of experience, a proposed plan for performing the services, and a description of available resources, labor, technology, materials, supplies, and equipment. Offeror security equal to 1% of the total proposed contract price is required in the form of an irrevocable letter of credit, certified check, cashier’s check, or bond from an Indiana Department of Insurance-registered surety. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled, with a project-site tour offered afterward. The district expects to consider proposals for award at its December 8, 2026, board meeting.
