Description
East Central Education Service Center, acting as a consortium for participating school entities, seeks Internet access and data transmission services with symmetrical bandwidth of approximately 1 Gbps, scalable to approximately 5 Gbps, and guaranteed throughput to its head-end. The service must include a fiber-optic handoff, provider-owned onsite equipment needed for the handoff, a pathway description from the provider’s point of presence to the applicant’s point of entry, and pricing for a /29 block of six IPv4 static addresses. Optional pricing for equivalent IPv6 addresses and additional IPv4 addresses should also be provided. Responses must include complete recurring and nonrecurring pricing by service tier, any construction or special-construction costs, a proposed service-level agreement addressing 99.99% network availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24/7/365 trouble reporting, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, chronic-trouble remedies, and monthly and annual service reports. Bidders must also provide a service description and implementation timeline demonstrating delivery by July 1, 2027, three similar-service references, an E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The selected provider must accept E-Rate SPI discounted invoicing. The requested term is three or five years, with voluntary extensions permitted if fully described and priced; evergreen or automatically renewing terms are not acceptable.
