Description
Alexandria Community School Corporation is requesting proposals for fully managed, leased network capacity providing symmetrical internet access and standalone WAN data transmission between its administrative building and high school. The requested service must support bandwidth scalable from approximately 1 or 2 Gbps up to 5 Gbps, include guaranteed throughput, approximately 16 public IPv4 addresses with pricing for additional addresses, and provide service-level commitments for availability, latency, jitter, packet loss, outage response, repair, and reporting. Proposals may use fiber, hybrid, cable, DSL, copper, satellite, microwave, or another technology-neutral transmission medium, and must describe the network topology, pathways, handoffs, provider-owned onsite equipment, and any construction or installation costs. Responses must include detailed recurring and nonrecurring pricing by site and service tier, a proposed SLA, three similar-service references with contact information, the vendor's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The requested service is expected to begin July 1, 2027, under a proposed three- to five-year contract with voluntary extensions; open-ended or automatically renewing terms are not acceptable. The procurement is contingent on E-Rate funding and an applicant-issued notice to proceed.
