Description
Alexandria Community School Corporation seeks scalable, symmetrical internet access and standalone WAN data transmission services for its administrative building and Alexandria Monroe Jr.-Sr. High School. Proposed service must support bandwidth tiers from approximately 1 or 2 Gbps up to 5 Gbps, provide guaranteed throughput, include approximately 16 public IPv4 addresses with pricing for additional addresses, and connect each site to the designated head-end. The selected provider must furnish necessary provider-owned handoff equipment, describe the proposed network topology and transmission medium, and identify any third-party leased lines or special construction costs. Responses must include complete recurring, non-recurring, and fee pricing by site and service tier; a proposed SLA addressing 99.99% network availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, chronic trouble provisions, and monthly and annual service reporting; three similar-service references; the provider's E-Rate SPIN number; and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The requested contract term is approximately three to five years, with voluntary extensions considered but automatic renewal prohibited.
