Description
The Navy seeks paint-application training for Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band forward radomes. The supplier will provide the materials and equipment needed to paint a test specimen using the current production process, covering surface preparation, surfacing, conductive primer mixing and application, base and top coats, and inspection. The supplier must also measure primer resistivity and coating thickness and assess final paint quality, sharing the methods and criteria with the government team. The scope includes an on-site production-process review and process demonstrations with knowledgeable personnel and subject-matter experts. The supplier will provide material, inspection, and test data. The on-site technical exchange and process witnessing are expected to take four to five days, with dates coordinated with the team. The solicitation identifies General Dynamics Mission Systems as the intended sole-source provider; other responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration.
