Description
Alexandria Community School Corporation is requesting proposals for fully managed internet access and standalone WAN data transmission services connecting its administration building and Alexandria Monroe Jr.-Sr. High School. The requested services include symmetrical bandwidth scalable from approximately 2 Gbps to 5 Gbps for internet access and 1–2 Gbps connections between sites, with guaranteed throughput, service-level commitments, network topology and pathway details, provider-owned handoff equipment, and demarcation in existing network closets. Proposals must include pricing by service tier, recurring and nonrecurring costs, IPv4 address pricing for approximately 16 public addresses, optional IPv6 pricing, construction or installation timelines, and any applicable discounts or state purchasing agreements. Responses must include a proposed SLA addressing 99.99% circuit availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, contention and oversubscription, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, chronic-trouble remedies, and monthly and annual service reports. Bidders must also provide three similar-service references, an E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The contract is expected to run approximately three to five years, with any extensions and pricing specified in the proposal.
