Description
Alexandria Community School Corporation seeks a fully managed, technology-neutral Internet access and standalone WAN data transmission solution connecting its administration building and Alexandria Monroe Jr.-Sr. High School. The requested service includes symmetrical bandwidth scalable from approximately 1–2 Gbps to 5 Gbps, guaranteed throughput, approximately 16 public IPv4 addresses with pricing for additional addresses, service demarcation in existing network closets, and service-level changes during the contract term. Proposals may use fiber, hybrid, cable, DSL, copper, satellite, microwave, or another suitable transmission medium. Responses must describe the proposed network topology, pathways, handoffs, provider-owned equipment, construction or installation requirements, recurring and nonrecurring pricing, service-level agreement, 24/7/365 trouble reporting, outage repair commitments, performance reporting, and any resiliency, firewall, or DDoS features. The SLA must address availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, contention, oversubscription, and a minimum two-hour diagnosis and four-hour temporary or permanent repair commitment. Vendors must also provide three similar-service references, an E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies.
