The City of League City is soliciting a supplier to provide and deliver liquid hypochlorite, 35% sulfuric acid, sodium bicarbonate, cyanuric acid, calcium chloride, sodium thiosulfate, and unstabilized calcium hypochlorite chlorine tablets. Estimated annual quantities include 16,700 gallons of liquid hypochlorite, 1,700 gallons of sulfuric acid, 6,700 pounds of sodium bicarbonate, 1,000 pounds of cyanuric acid, 500 pounds each of calcium chloride and sodium thiosulfate, and 5,000 pounds of calcium hypochlorite tablets. The scope includes routine deliveries to Hometown Heroes Park Pool and Walker Street Pool, as-needed delivery of dry chemicals within three business days, emergency delivery within 24 hours, safe transfer and placement of chemicals, container replacement, delivery tracking, invoicing documentation, compliant vehicles and dispensing equipment, spill response, and a written disaster and business continuity plan. The proposed contract is for one year with up to two one-year renewals, not to exceed three total years. Proposals must address qualifications and experience, methodology, implementation, pricing, and required city forms.
