Description
Webb County is soliciting sealed competitive bids for the El Cenizo Street Improvement Project, which involves approximately 3.2 miles of roadway improvements. The project scope includes new Type "D" Hot Mix Asphalt, concrete removal, manhole lid lifting, traffic control, signage, striping, and drainage improvements. This project is funded in whole or in part by a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Project Funding (CPF) grant, requiring compliance with all applicable federal requirements. The work will be performed on Hernandez Street, Rodriguez Street, Morales Street, Valdez Street, and Rosales Street. Specific tasks include paving with Type "D" Hot Mix Asphalt, concrete removal, manhole lid lifting, traffic control, signage, and striping. Drainage improvements on Rosales Street involve installing a new grate inlet and concrete piping to address flooding. All work must be conducted in accordance with the plans and specifications provided, and adhere to federal procurement rules under 2 CFR Part 200 and Texas Government Code Chapter 2269.
