Description
The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking a caretaker management firm or individual to maintain and operate the Bozeman Hill Truck Parking Area. Services include daily cleaning and servicing of four vault toilets; cleaning walkways, plaza areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and grounds; litter and garbage removal; lawn, tree, shrub, and natural-area maintenance; graffiti removal; pressure washing; minor fixture repairs and replacements; emergency response; and daily recordkeeping. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies not furnished by the Department, remain on call for emergencies, and perform toilet servicing between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. daily. Snow removal from parking lots and entrances is excluded, but the contractor must remove snow and ice from the pedestrian walkways in front of the vault toilets. The purchase order begins upon award through October 31, 2027, with possible one-year extensions for up to seven total years. The contractor must maintain the site in a safe, sanitary, clean, and attractive condition, comply with applicable safety and sanitation requirements, maintain daily logs, and provide copies of those logs to the Department at least twice monthly. Montana prevailing-wage requirements for applicable nonconstruction services apply.
