Description
Metropolitan Community College is seeking a qualified firm to serve as its designated agent of record and provide employee benefits brokerage and consulting services. The scope includes strategic planning, benefits plan design, annual renewals, carrier and vendor negotiations, medical and pharmacy strategy, claims and utilization analysis, benchmarking, cost-containment recommendations, compliance support, employee communications, open enrollment assistance, wellness program support, vendor advocacy, and transition from the incumbent broker. The selected broker will support approximately 720 active employees, six early retirees, and 395 regular retirees eligible for benefits. Proposals must describe the firm's qualifications, relevant higher-education and public-sector experience, assigned team, strategic approach, analytics and benchmarking capabilities, pharmacy strategy, employee communication and engagement services, compliance and regulatory support, transition plan, cybersecurity and privacy controls, compensation arrangements, references, conflicts of interest, and any proposed subcontractors. Pricing is entered through the procurement portal, and detailed direct and indirect compensation must be disclosed using the required compensation and fee disclosure form. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional one-year renewals.
