Description
The Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners is seeking a firm fixed-price bid to replace the Kansas City Police Department Academy Auditorium's aging video/audio system. The scope includes a motorized 255-inch screen; a 4K, 25,000-lumen laser projector; network-based video switching and routing; linear-array speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, and digital signal processors; video encoders and decoders; an all-in-one 4K recording and streaming solution; control processors and 10-inch touch panels; wireless microphone receivers, handheld microphones, bodypack microphones, antenna distribution, and antennas; and three 40X PTZ cameras with licensing and a manual controller. The work includes equipment installation, system integration, configuration, and integration of existing wireless microphone receivers. The system must support local presentations, multi-speaker presentations, multi-camera production, recording, streaming, remote or virtual control-panel access, and routing of camera and presentation sources. Vendors are responsible for including pertinent product data, specifications, completed requested forms, and other supplemental materials in the online bid response. A walkthrough is strongly encouraged to assess the existing room and installation requirements; the client is responsible for ceiling-tile removal and reinstallation needed for the larger screen, and existing pathways and conduits are assumed usable.
