Description
The project involves constructing two barbed-wire drift fences totaling approximately 2,500 feet to exclude livestock from a campground. Work includes installing an estimated four 12-foot wire gates, steel brace and anchor posts, and associated fencing materials and fittings. Vegetation may be cleared as needed with chainsaws or handsaws; heavy equipment is not allowed for clearing. Fence lines must tie into existing cattleguards, and work must follow the project drawings and applicable construction specifications. The quotation must include pricing for all schedule-of-items line items, a completed experience questionnaire, a written technical-capability narrative addressing similar fence and gate work, key personnel, project management and quality control, subcontractor roles, and a project-specific quality control plan. A performance data sheet is required for past-performance history. The contract is a firm-fixed-price construction award with a 90-calendar-day performance period after notice to proceed.
