Description
Truckee Meadows Water Authority is soliciting bids for labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to replace water mains on Marsh Avenue between Plumb Lane and St. Lawrence Avenue. The work includes installing approximately 617 linear feet of 6-inch and 3,009 linear feet of 8-inch restrained-joint ductile iron pipe, completing approximately 47 service tie-overs, grout filling approximately 2,940 linear feet of existing 6-inch and 8-inch cast-iron main, and removing and disposing of approximately 250 linear feet of 6-inch Transite (asbestos-cement) main. The engineer’s estimate is $2,248,327 to $2,747,955. The project is designated as horizontal construction.
