Description
This sources-sought notice requests capability statements from businesses able to provide onsite facilities maintenance and operations personnel for a VA medical center. The stated staffing needs are one electrician, two HVAC technicians, one utility systems operator, and one pipefitter. Personnel must have trade-specific experience, including at least one year at the journeyman level; the electrician must hold a journeyman-level license, and HVAC technicians must hold active EPA universal refrigerant certification. The work includes electrical, HVAC, piping, boiler, chiller, and utility-plant operation and maintenance. The notice describes a base year and four option years, from January 2027 through December 2031. Responses are limited to capability statements and must include company and contact details, socioeconomic status, relevant experience, UEI, applicable VA contract participation information, and any subcontracting intentions. The notice states that the potential acquisition is intended as an SDVOSB or VOSB set-aside and that only qualifying SDVOSB or VOSB businesses responding to this notice by the deadline will be eligible for award if a solicitation is issued.
