Description
The City of Maple Ridge is conducting a Request for Information to identify firms or individuals capable of providing services and supplies under the direction of its Emergency Operations Centre during emergencies and evacuations of people and animals. Work may be requested on an as-needed basis for events such as floods, fires, and earthquakes, including within the city or neighboring communities. The scope includes facility rentals for emergency supply staging, distribution, evacuation reception centres, or alternate EOC operations; delivery and rental of reception-centre equipment; commercial lodging for evacuees and displaced residents; food, catering, meals, grocery support, and food distribution; animal evacuation and support for pets, hobby farms, and livestock; transportation services such as shuttles, accessible transportation, and taxis; and pharmacies or suppliers of clothing and basic-needs vouchers.
