Description
The New York City Housing Authority intends to award a series of seven development-specific requirement contracts for installation of vinyl composition floor tile in apartments at Adams Houses, Melrose Houses, Morrisania Air Right/Jackson Houses, St. Mary's/Bronxchester Houses, Butler Houses, Morris Houses, and Webster/Morrisania Houses. The scope includes installation in occupied and move-out apartments and, when separately ordered, removal of existing non-asbestos floor coverings such as vinyl composition tile, linoleum, self-adhesive tile, carpet, ceramic tile, and wood flooring. The amendment clarifies that removal-only line items must be priced separately from installation line items. The contract term is three years from the applicable award or notice-to-proceed date, with up to two one-year renewal options. No bid security is required. Bidders and identified subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i, and bidders must be prequalified through the NYCHA Tile Pre-Qualification List and appear on the active approved vendor list. Section 3 REO and OEO plans must be submitted separately through eComply by the bid deadline and must not be included in the iSupplier bid submission. The work is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements.
