Description
Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling is requesting bids for processing, removing, hauling, and recycling approximately 300–400 net tons of stockpiled scrap metal at the Horsethief Canyon Trash Transfer Station. Pricing must include post-processing cleanup, including final magnetic cleanup, and must be provided per net ton. The contractor must weigh outbound vehicles, obtain scale tickets from the transfer station and receiving facility, and submit the tickets with invoices. Cleanup must begin on the stated availability date or within 10 business days of contract approval, whichever occurs sooner, and must be completed within 21 working days of commencement. The County is also requesting pricing to remove and recycle approximately 13.05 net tons of tin can bundles, 0.02 net tons of aluminum foil bales, and 2,000 net pounds of lead acid batteries from its recycling center. These materials will be ready for pickup on or after October 21, 2026, and must be removed within 30 days of notice to proceed. Pricing is per net ton for tin can bundles and aluminum foil bales and per pound for lead acid batteries. Proof of insurance and identification of proposed subcontractors are required upon award, while the bid must include the contractor’s available commencement date and subcontractor list.
