The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Weather Service National Reconditioning Center is seeking firms capable of repairing or replacing 50 Setra Model 470-T sensors, ASN S100-1A6A1-1. The work must furnish labor and materials to return the equipment to like-new operating condition and appearance, meeting the original manufacturer’s specifications and tolerances; any equipment that does not meet those requirements must be reworked at no additional cost. This is a sources-sought notice and potential sole-source acquisition, not a current request for proposals. Interested firms must submit company and point-of-contact information, a capability statement, relevant repair and reconditioning references, repair or replacement pricing for each unit, applicable return shipping costs, and an estimated delivery schedule. The agency identifies Setra Systems Inc. as the original equipment manufacturer and may proceed competitively or issue a purchase order without further notice.
