Description
Lewis County is soliciting statements of qualifications from consulting firms to provide wetland and other waters services for two federally funded county safety projects. The work includes reconnaissance of wetlands, streams, and fish and wildlife habitats; wetland and jurisdictional drainage delineations; field flagging and mapping; wetland ratings and buffer determinations; and assessment of regulatory jurisdiction. The scope may also include wetland and stream mitigation plan design and preparation of bank use plans using wetland mitigation-bank credits. The selected consultant is expected to provide separate service packages for each project and enter into a negotiated hourly-rate professional services agreement for each. A proposed fieldwork schedule is due within one week of contract execution, and wetland delineation reports are due within six weeks of contract execution. The combined anticipated maximum contract value is $48,000, and each agreement has a voluntary 10% SBE goal and a 0% FSBE goal. Responses are limited to 15 pages and must include qualifications, relevant experience, assigned personnel, project descriptions and contacts, and information addressing the evaluation criteria.
