Description
Houston County School District is seeking one incorporated construction firm to provide construction management at risk services for additions and renovations at Perry High School. The scope includes site development, new construction, renovation and modifications on an active campus, along with preconstruction planning, constructability and value-engineering reviews, estimating, scheduling, guaranteed maximum price development, subcontractor bidding, construction management, quality and safety control, closeout, and one year of warranty support. The project is divided into four phases with estimated budgets of $22 million, $2 million, $28 million and $8 million, for a total estimated budget of $60 million. The selected contractor must provide project management and on-site supervision, obtain at least three bids for each bid package, coordinate trade contractors, and provide 100% payment and performance bonds. Proposals must address firm experience, management personnel, relevant projects, CM-at-risk approach, warranty approach, claims history, financial capacity, fees, local participation, bonding capacity, insurance, licenses, safety performance and supporting financial and corporate documentation.
