Description
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and Niagara Frontier Transit Metro Systems, Inc. seek a contractor to upgrade the existing security gate at the east end of 164 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The work must use the existing structural foundation and electrical infrastructure and includes removing the existing Hy-Security Hydralift Gate components, purchasing and delivering new Wallace XT208 Foldmart Speedgate components, and installing and integrating the replacement system. Brand-name-or-equal products are permitted if they meet the specified quality, functional, performance, and manufacturer requirements. The proposal must address the project approach, implementation, organization, key personnel and resumes, related projects, qualifications, references, equipment and replacement parts, safety plan, warranty information, lead time, digital manual or user guide, SDS, and Buy America questions. The project is subject to New York prevailing wage requirements. The contractor must submit an all-inclusive firm-fixed-price cost proposal and provide a minimum one-year workmanship and materials warranty, with proposed gate components carrying at least a five-year warranty. Required submission materials include the technical proposal, cost proposal, surety letter, vendor certifications, exceptions form, insurance form and proof of insurance, addenda acknowledgment, ST-220-TD certification, gender-based violence certification, and the Bonfire questionnaire.
