Description
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is seeking grant applications for multidisciplinary projects that reduce juvenile violent crime, increase accountability interventions for youth offenders, strengthen coordinated responses to juvenile crime, and provide support services for children exposed to violence in their homes, schools, and communities. Eligible activities may include crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, referrals, mental health treatment, family support, community capacity building, and prevention or intervention strategies. Applicants must submit a project narrative through the required federal grant systems, including a proposal abstract, needs assessment, goals and objectives, project design and implementation plan, organizational capabilities, budget, timeline, position descriptions, and collaborative planning or stakeholder-team materials. The anticipated award period is 36 months beginning January 1, 2027, with awards of up to $815,000; no cost sharing is required.
