Description

Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to secure natural gas provider rates for its various locations. The scope of work involves providing and delivering natural gas service. The primary usage for the natural gas will be for facility heating, kitchen equipment, and generators if needed. FCPS is requesting quotes for a fixed-price (guaranteed rate) service, and all transportation, balancing, and service fees, excluding taxes, must be included in the quote. Respondents must demonstrate technical fitness by providing proof of licensing and experience in supplying natural gas to K-12 educational environments in Georgia, along with a transition plan for minimal disruption. The contract duration will be for twelve (12) or twenty-four (24) months, with an initial start date of July 1, 2026. Pricing must be held firm until December 31st of the issuing year, after which an escalator can be invoked with 30 days' written notice and documentation for product cost increases up to 10%. The contract may renew for four (4) additional one-year terms.
