Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office-East is seeking a contractor to provide medical grade gases and cylinder rentals. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 325120 (Industrial Gas Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code is 6835 (Medical Gasses). The solicitation is competed as a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The scope of work includes the supply of various medical gases such as Liquid Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide, meeting USP and FDA specifications. The contract will also involve the rental of cylinders, including daily rentals for various gas types and sizes, as well as liquid containers. Delivery services are required to the Atlanta VAMC, located at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA. The contractor will be responsible for providing contractor-owned cylinders or servicing the facility with a combination of government-owned and contractor-owned cylinders. Preventative maintenance on cylinders and annual training on proper filling procedures are also required. The period of performance is estimated to be from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2031. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
