Description
Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is soliciting sealed bids for a project involving the installation and abandonment of natural gas mains, services, and all appurtenances, along with related paving services. This project is located within the city of Philadelphia. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The scope of work includes prudent gas main construction and certain required paving restoration, as well as service abandonments and certain required paving restoration. PGW estimates the quantities provided in the bid form are approximate and reserves the right to increase or decrease them as needed. Bidders are required to submit their bids electronically via PGW's Electronic Bidding System, Procureware, by July 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All bids must be submitted in a searchable PDF format. Contractors must also adhere to prevailing wage requirements as determined by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
