Description
The City of Texas City is soliciting sealed competitive bids for the purchase and delivery of gasoline and diesel fuel. This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for a city-wide contract. The agreement will be for an initial three-year term with two 12-month renewal options, provided services are conducted to mutual satisfaction and prices remain acceptable. Quantities will be ordered on an 'as needed, when needed' basis, with no guaranteed minimum purchase amount. Pricing will be determined by a formula based on Oil Price Information Services (OPIS) rack prices for the Houston, Texas area, plus or minus a fixed differential bid by the supplier. Deliveries must be made within 48 hours of order placement within the city limits of Texas City.
