Kern County Parks Department is seeking a vendor to provide live, healthy, bar-graded, hand-culled Rainbow and Golden Rainbow (Lightning) trout, including delivery and shoreline planting at two locations on opposite ends of Lake Evans. Each load must follow the specified mix: 75% Rainbow Trout between 3/4 and 3 pounds each, 15% Golden Rainbow (Lightning) Trout larger than 3 pounds each, and 10% Rainbow Trout larger than 3 pounds each. Pricing must be provided per pound and include fish, labor, equipment, delivery, planting, licenses, and any applicable California importation permits. The solicitation covers ten scheduled deliveries totaling 14,000 pounds, from November 23, 2026, through March 29, 2027. Vendors must confirm each delivery at least two days in advance and indicate whether the fish are raised in California, whether they can meet the required size ratio, and whether their pricing includes all fees. The completed county Quotation Request Form, including the pricing and delivery schedule, vendor information, questions, and terms and conditions, must be submitted without modifying the county-provided text.
